9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so.
10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good.
11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so.
12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
13 And the evening and the morning were the third day.As you can see, I've decided to read several verses at a time, at least as often as possible, otherwise I would probably never finish. How many passages and verses are really in the Bible as a whole?
I tried Google and found that the Bible has 7959 verses... That is a lot, to say the least. It would have taken years to complete if I only did one verse a day, something that I actually planned to do at the beginning of this blog. Alas, so little I once knew...
Anyways, Genesis 1 - chapter 9-13, a summary.
- We got dry land.
- It was called Earth and it was good.
- We got grass, herbs, fruits and such. Probably also marijuana and other illegal stuff. More on this later on. But whatever, we got fruits and plants we need for survival, and plants people abuse today.
- The end of Day 2.
The World is really starting to take shape. I'm not fully convinced yet, but it's a long way to go.
